| Medicaid Provider Manual Improvements Coming. Provider Input Needed.
Information posted August 26, 2008: The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is changing the format and layout of the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual (TMPPM) to make it more useful for providers. The improvements will appear in the 2010 TMPPM. HHSC has prepared an electronic survey to gather provider feedback that will be used to improve the user-friendliness of the TMPPM. Information posted August 15, 2008: This is an update to the 2008 Texas Medicaid Provider Procedure Manual section 5.1.3.1, “Quick Tips on Expediting Paper Claims” on page 5-6. The Do and Don’t tables have been revised to indicate that providers should use 10-pitch (12-point) Courier font on their paper claims.
