Provider Relations Representatives are the field based Medicaid Training Specialists in Texas. They provide education and training on claims submission for new and existing Medicaid providers. Technical support and training are also provided for TexMedConnect software users for Medicaid, Long Term Care, CSHCN, MDCP, Family Planning and Primary Care Case Management Providers.

If you do not see a scheduled workshop for your area, please contact your Provider Relations Representative at the phone number listed below for locally scheduled workshops. The following are descriptions of some of the workshops TMHP offers throughout the year:

• Success with Medicaid is a workshop that provides Medicaid training designed and recommended for the newly enrolled providers with less than 2 years of Medicaid billing.
• TexMedConnect is the Medicaid software used to transmit electronic data. This workshop provides detailed training on installation, claims completion, transmission, client eligibility/MESAV, appeals/adjustments, claim status and more.

Provider Enrollment:

You may access online enrollment applications at http://www.tmhp.com/C12/Provider%20Enrollment/default.aspx. Customer Service is also available to answer your questions about completing the application or the status of your application at 1-800-925-9126. You may also contact your Provider Relations Representative for information about enrolling in the Medicaid Program or to schedule a visit to your office to assist you with the enrollment process.
