25.4.4 Reimbursement
Medical nutritional products may be reimbursed according to the lower of the billed amount or the average wholesale price (AWP) per can/volume according to the prices in the current edition of the Red Book, published by Thomson Reuters. For products not listed in the current edition of the Red Book, reimbursement is based on the same methodology using the AWP supplied by the manufacturer of the product.
