31.4 Reimbursement

Physicians and radiation treatment centers may be reimbursed the lower of the billed amount or the amount allowed by Texas Medicaid.

Inpatient and outpatient hospitals may be reimbursed for radiation therapy services at 80 percent of the rate authorized by TEFRA, which is equivalent to the hospital's Medicaid interim rate.
