HHSC has targeted specific client groups within the Texas Medicaid population for managed care enrollment. Refer to each program in this section for enrollment information.

In most cases, Medicaid managed care enrollment is not retroactive. For exceptions, see "Enrollment of Pregnant Women (Type Program 40)" , "Enrollment of Newborns" , and "Client Enrollment" .
