21.3.1 TelemedicineA remote site provider can be an FQHC, RHC, or health-care provider such as a physician, advanced practice nurse (APN), or CNM who is able to independently bill the Texas Medicaid Program for an office visit. FQHC telemedicine providers must submit their claims using the appropriate encounter code and modifiers. Use modifier AM, U7, or SA in the first modifier field on the claim form with the modifier GT in the second modifier field. Refer to: "Telemedicine Services" for more information. |
