8.5 Reimbursement
APNs may be reimbursed the lower of the billed amount or 92 percent of the amount allowed by the Texas Medicaid Program for the same service provided by a physician. Exceptions to this reimbursement methodology include injections, laboratory services, radiology services, and immunizations.
