14.23 Wheelchairs
The CSHCN Services Program may prior authorize a custom, manual, or power wheelchair and/or seating system or modifications. The CSHCN Services Program does not reimburse providers for wheelchairs for children who are residents of nursing facilities or intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICF-MR). Providing wheelchairs for these children is the responsibility of the facility licensed to care for the child.
