24.1.3 Specialty Team/Center

In addition to requiring prior authorization, some services require that physicians and/or facilities be approved by TMHP-CSHCN Services Program as specialty team- or specialty center-enrolled.

•For stem cell transplant services, the facility must be specialty center-enrolled.

•For cleft/craniofacial surgical procedures, only the physician, dentist, and other professional providers constitute the specialty team.

If the specialty team or center requirements are not met, all services related to the procedure are denied for payment.
