24.3.3.1 Base Units
Base units represent the RVUs for the anesthesia procedure performed. When multiple procedures are performed, the base units represent the procedure with the highest RVUs. The uniform relative value guide used by the TMHP-CSHCN Services Program to reimburse anesthesia services is one developed by the Texas Medicare carrier.
