Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital Services Handbook : 4 Outpatient Hospital (Medical and Surgical Acute Care Outpatient Facility) : 4.2 Services, Benefits, Limitations, and Prior Authorization : 4.2.14 Laboratory Services : Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
All providers of laboratory services must comply with the rules and regulations of CLIA. Providers not complying with CLIA will not be reimbursed for laboratory services.
