Waiver Extension for DME Certification and Receipt Form

Note: Texas Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) must provide all medically necessary, Medicaid-covered services to eligible clients. Administrative procedures such as prior authorization, pre-certification, referrals, and claims/encounter data filing may differ from traditional Medicaid (fee-for-service) and from MCO to MCO. Providers should contact the client's specific MCO for details.

This is an update to the article titled, “Client Signature Requirement Waived on the DME Certification and Receipt Form,” which was published on this website on March 24, 2020.

To help ensure continuity of care during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) response, the signature requirement waiver for the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Certification and Receipt Form is extended through May 31, 2020.
