of Radio TMHP features a conversation about the options that a pharmacy enrolled
in the Texas Medicaid\CHIP Vendor Drug Program (VDP) has with TMHP. The
Vendor Drug Program processes out-patient pharmacy prescriptions for Medicaid
and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Drugs administered in the
doctor's office, inpatient hospital, outpatient hospital, or any location other
than the client's home, nursing facility, or extended care facility are not a
covered Vendor Drug Program benefit. The discussion includes TMHP provider
type enrollment options, durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies and
Medicaid Children’s Services Comprehensive Care Program (CCP) claim processes,
and other questions a VDP enrolled pharmacy may have about TMHP.
