An ITP is an Individual who is reimbursed for using their
personal vehicle to drive a Medicaid client safely to the
doctor, dentist, or drug store. The MTP client is the person
that the ITP is driving, and it can be the ITP or a friend or
family member.
An individual must be enrolled as an ITP to get paid back for
rides. Before an individual can enroll as an ITP, a Medicaid
client must call MTP and request a ride from the individual.

request a ride.
