If you are a licensed pharmacy in Texas, you can enroll in Medicaid durable
medical equipment (DME), Comprehensive Care Program (CCP), and as vaccine
administrators.
Pharmacy providers are eligible to enroll in Medicaid Children’s
Services (CCP). To be enrolled in Medicaid
Children’s Services (CCP), the pharmacy must first be enrolled in the Medicaid Vendor
Drug Program (VDP).
For clients who are birth through 20 years of age, Medicaid Children’s
Services (CCP) may cover some over-the-counter drugs and disposable or
expendable medical supplies that are available in pharmacies but not covered by
VDP. Pharmacy providers must continue to bill HHSC-VDP for drugs that are covered under
VDP.
