Effective September 1, 2006, cost settlement reimbursement amounts were reduced by 8 percent for all inpatient SSI and SSI-related claims for hospitals located in Bexar, Dallas, El Paso, Harris, Lubbock, Nueces, Tarrant, and Travis service delivery areas. Medlog reports do not currently identify inpatient claims that are subject to the 8 percent SSI or SSI-related rate reduction. A new medlog detailed report will identify these claims, which will eliminate the overpayments that have occurred at final cost report settlement.

Other changes to the medlog report include removing the logo and replacing the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership title with Texas Medicaid.
