F0117--Unit Rate must be greater than zero.
On August 29, 2009, TMHP implemented a new TexMedConnect release. Sometimes, based on browser settings, proxies, and server settings, the user’s internet browser does not download the most recent version of resource files. If the most recent version of resource files is not downloaded and the old resource files are used, the line item total calculates to zero. If the claim is submitted the provider may receive EOB F0117.
Providers that are identifying this problem should follow these steps.
Step 1: Load/update the new resource files onto your computer.
- Open any screen where you view or edit claims.
- This can be done by opening a new claim, opening a saved template or draft, or by viewing or editing a saved batch.
- Hold the Control (CTRL) key and press the F5 key at the same time.
- This tells the browser to perform a ‘hard refresh’ which means that it should re-download all files for the page.
Step 2: When the refresh has been done, any claims that were saved as a template, a draft or saved to batch since Saturday, August 29, will need to be fixed because they have been saved with old resource files data. Follow these steps to download new resource files and update data information.
- Open TexMedConnect (TMC) to the claim that receives the error.
- Click on the Details tab.
- Click on the detail line.
- Press the tab key.
NOTE: This will only need to be performed once per provider computer. After the new file is downloaded, all subsequent line item total calculations will work correctly.
