Attention Nursing Facility Providers
Information posted May 7, 2009: Effective 5/8/09 changes have been made to the LTC Online Portal that will allow Pending LTCMI on Modifications on MDS from the State Database and corrections to the LTCMI to be submitted without having to complete a Purpose Code E provided that the original assessment (MDS with a LTCMI) met the established timeliness rules. For Modifications and corrections to MDS assessments that did not originally meet the timeliness rules (including the submission of the LTCMI), a Purpose Code E will still be required.
