On October 1, 2008, TMHP will implement third quarter 2008 Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) additions, changes, and deletions that will be effective for dates of service on or after October 1, 2008. Deleted procedure codes will no longer be benefits of Texas Medicaid or the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program.

Details of these changes will be available on the HCPCS web page of this website beginning October 1, 2008, and will also be published in the January/February 2009 Texas Medicaid Bulletin, No. 220, and the February 2009 CSHCN Services Program Provider Bulletin, No. 69.
