Information posted September 1, 2009: This is an update to an article posted on this website on July 31, 2009, titled “Medicare Advantage Plan Claims Processing and Eligibility Inquiries Implementation.” The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) contact information to be used by Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPs) that choose not to contract with HHSC is no longer valid.
