LTC8: Portal Status of Med ID Pending

Information posted May 1, 2009: This Long Term Care (LTC) News notice applies to Forms 3618, 3619 and Minimum Data Set (MDS) Assessments. Nursing facility providers that have submitted a form with a Medicaid ID greater than 9 characters and the portal status is "Medicaid ID Pending" should follow these steps: (1) Forms 3618/3619 - 'Inactivate' the form and 'Use as template' to submit the corrected Medicaid ID; (2) MDS - Submit an MDS Modification at the State MDS Database with the corrected Medicaid ID and then complete the Long Term Care Medicaid Information (LTCMI) on the LTC Online Portal. Effective May 31, 2009, the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) will 'Inactivate' any forms that were submitted with a Medicaid ID greater than 9 characters with a portal status of "Medicaid ID Pending" that have not been addressed by the nursing facility provider.
