LTC Online Portal Updates
Information posted June 5, 2009: Effective June 5, 2009 multiple changes to the LTC Online Portal will be noted by providers. These updates will include changes that affect correcting and inactivating all form types, diagnosis codes, My Draft functionality and 3rd party vendor submissions. Effective June 5, 2009 LTC Providers will note the following changes:

 

  • Providers will no longer be able to correct a form on the LTC Online Portal that is in a status of either Form Inactivated or Invalid/Complete.  This includes MDS Comprehensive, MDS Quarterly, PASARR, MN and LOC, 3618 and 3619.
  • Providers will no longer be able to inactivate a form that is in Corrected status on the LTC Online Portal.  This includes MDS Comprehensive, MDS Quarterly, PASARR, MN and LOC, 3618 and 3619.
  • Dates of birth for clients born before the year 1900 will now be accepted on the MN and LOC assessment.
  • Providers who enter an invalid ICD-9 diagnosis code will receive an error message prompting them to correct the invalid code.  The error message states “Please enter a valid diagnosis code.”
  • After saving a draft form on the LTC Online Portal, the newly saved draft will display under “My Drafts” without the provider having to refresh the screen.
  • Third-party vendors will no longer be able to correct a form in Corrected, SAS Request Pending or Form Inactivated status.
