Antivenin Procedure Code J0841 (ANAVIP®) to Become a CSHCN Benefit Effective June 1, 2022

Effective for dates of service on or after June 1, 2022, antivenin procedure code J0841 (ANAVIP®) will become a benefit of the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program.

ANAVIP® is an antivenin approved for use in adults and children with North American Pit Viper envenomation.

Procedure code J0841 may be reimbursed for the following places of service and provider types:
