May 1, 2020, is the deadline for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program providers and financial management services agencies (FMSAs) impacted by the Cures Act to select an EVV vendor or choose to use an EVV proprietary system.
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will assign EVV vendors to program providers and FMSAs that miss the deadline.
TMHP will send a notification letter to affected program providers and FMSAs. The letter will contain the name of their assigned vendor, what to do next, and where to find resources.
Program providers that want to choose their EVV system should:
- Visit the TMHP EVV Vendors webpage or the TMHP EVV Proprietary Systems webpage to learn more about the different options.
- Review and complete the EVV Provider Onboarding Form on the website of the appropriate EVV vendor or submit the EVV Proprietary System Request Form.
