LICENSE FOR USE OF CURRENT PROCEDURAL TERMINOLOGY, FOURTH EDITION ("CPT® ")

You, your employees and agents are authorized to use CPT only as contained in materials on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website solely for your own personal use in directly participating in healthcare programs administered by THHS. You acknowledge that AMA holds all copyright, trademark and other rights in CPT.

DBMD Program Providers Required to Select an EVV Vendor

Effective December 1, 2020 HHSC will require DBMD program providers to use EVV for the following services:

Community First Choice Personal Assistance Services/Habilitation
In-Home Respite

DBMD program providers are required to select an EVV vendor and complete EVV training to meet the December 1 deadline. The requirement to select an EVV vendor and complete training applies to all contracted DBMD program providers who are:

Currently providing services, including those who are not currently providing an EVV-mandated service but may do so at a future date.
Not currently serving any people in the DBMD program but may do so at a future date by providing an EVV-mandated service.

Beginning December 1, 2020, service claims for CFC PAS/HAB will be denied by the claims adjudication system and they will not be paid by HHSC if the DBMD program provider has not onboarded with an EVV vendor.
