October Drug Utilization Review Board Meeting to be Virtual with Onsite Option

Last updated on

The quarterly meeting of the Texas Drug Utilization Review Board on October 22, 2021 will be virtual, but this meeting offers the option of attending onsite.

The meeting will be held at the following location:

John H. Winters Building

Public Hearing Room 125, First Floor

Austin, TX 78751

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) encourages virtual attendance to minimize the potential for exposure to COVID-19.

The setup of the Winters Building will allow for social distancing based on the recommended Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines; HHSC will provide an overflow room if necessary. HHSC requires one board member to be onsite to preside over the meeting. All other board members may attend virtually.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or view the meeting webcast. HHSC will provide a meeting agenda with links to the webcast registration and testimony forms.

Those who plan to register to present public testimony before the October 20, 2021 deadline may provide their testimony virtually if they have audio and video capabilities. Those without audio and video capabilities must register on the day of the meeting and provide comments in person.

Refer to the Vendor Drug Program website for instructions on attending virtually, submitting written materials to the board before the meeting, and testifying or providing public comment on the day of the meeting.
