Correction to ‘Reimbursement Rate Changes and Updates for Texas Medicaid Procedure Codes Effective March 1, 2022’

Note: Texas Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) must provide all medically necessary, Medicaid-covered services to eligible clients. Administrative procedures such as prior authorization, pre-certification, referrals, and claims/encounter data filing may differ from traditional Medicaid (fee-for-service) and from MCO to MCO. Providers should contact the client's specific MCO for details.

Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) has issued a correction to an article titled “Reimbursement Rate Changes and Updates for Texas Medicaid Procedure Codes Effective March 1, 2022,” which was published on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website on January 14, 2022. The article listed incorrect reimbursement rates for substance abuse disorder services.
