You, your employees and agents are authorized to use CPT only as contained in materials on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website solely for your own personal use in directly participating in healthcare programs administered by THHS. Effective August 1, 2023, SHARS ORP Providers May Provide Referrals

Effective August 1, 2023, evaluations from School Health and Related Services (SHARS) audiologists and speech-language pathologists who are enrolled in Texas Medicaid as ordering, referring, or prescribing (ORP) providers may serve as referrals for audiology or speech and language services.

When submitting claims for SHARS audiology and speech and language services, local education agencies must include the referring provider’s national provider identifier (NPI) in the referring provider NPI field of the claim form.
