Get Fast Provider Enrollment Assistance With PEAT Today

Last updated on

Meet PEAT, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership’s (TMHP’s) new Provider Enrollment Assistant Tool. PEAT is question-based software available on the Provider Enrollment web page that can deliver instant answers to provider enrollment-related questions. Users simply type in a question, and PEAT can provide direct answers or guide users to the resources they need.

PEAT can help providers:

  • Find answers to revalidation questions, including timeframe guidance.
  • Schedule an online appointment for personalized support with enrollment issues, including step-by-step guidance from a provider representative.
  • Learn more about Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS) maintenance requests.
  • Provide enrollment instructions, including instructions for new enrollments, reenrollments, and updates to existing enrollments.

Providers can easily access PEAT by clicking on the Enrollment Help link on the left-hand menu of the Provider Enrollment web page. Click the Provider Enrollment Assistant Tool button and follow the prompts to begin.

To use PEAT, providers must have their National Provider Identifier (NPI), ZIP code, taxonomy number (if applicable), and any contact information related to the NPI.

If providers need additional enrollment support, a provider enrollment walk-through session with a provider recruitment and retention specialist is available and can be scheduled using PEAT.

Providers can also find more enrollment help on the PEMS Instructional Website and the TMHP YouTube Channel.
