Register for Long-Term Care Webinar on February 4

The Quality Monitoring Program and The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing are offering a free webinar for certified nurse aides, registered nurses and nursing facility administrators.

“Integrating the Infection Control Risk Assessment Findings into Your QAPI Process,” will be hosted by Caitlin Ferguson and Macy McElhaney from the TMF Health Quality Institute on February 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central time.

The webinar aims to guide and improve the care of Texas residents using evidence-based best practices.

Learning objectives will include:

  • Apply QAPI process and root cause analysis (RCA) tools to enhance quality improvement within your facility.
  • Gain skills to design and implement evidence-based solutions to improve infection prevention practices.
  • Ensure implemented interventions foster sustained improvement through ongoing measurement.

This webinar provides one continuing nurse education credit for registered nurses, certified nurse aides and licensed nursing facility administrators.
