Use PEAT for Enrollment Help Today

Last updated on

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership’s (TMHP’s) new online Provider Enrollment Assistant Tool (PEAT) can support all enrolling provider types by answering common questions, offering direct links to step‑by‑step instructions, and guiding users through the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS). In addition, PEAT can help users schedule a walk‑through session with a Provider Relations representative.

Note: PEAT no longer requires a National Provider Identifier (NPI) to answer enrollment questions.

Use PEAT to Schedule a Walk-Through

PEAT can also help users schedule a walk-through session with a Provider Relations representative. This personalized service gives providers one-on-one support and step-by-step help with their enrollment issues.

Note: To schedule an enrollment walk-through, providers must have their NPI, contact name, email address, and telephone number. This is the only PEAT function that requires providers to have an NPI.

Access PEAT on the TMHP Website

PEAT is available on TMHP’s website. To use PEAT, go to the Provider Enrollment web page, and click Enrollment Help on the left-hand menu. The Provider Enrollment Assistant Tool will open halfway down the web page. Follow the prompts to get started.
