Log In and Select Your Enrollment Type
Log in to Provider Enrollment on the Portal (PEP) on tmhp.com.
Click Enrollment.
Enter a name for your application in the “Please name your application” field.
Select an enrollment option.
New Enrollment—New providers that have never been issued a Texas Provider Identifier (TPI)
Existing Enrollment:
Existing providers who are enrolling with a new Medicare number
Existing providers who are adding a practice location or Tax ID
Existing providers who are adding a provider type or provider specialty
Existing providers who are enrolling in Texas Health Steps (medical or dental) or the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program
Existing providers who have a Change of Ownership
Re-Enrollment—Providers who are reinstating a terminated Texas Provider Identifier (TPI)
Select an existing TPI from the “Please Select a TPI:” drop-down menu.
Note: If you don’t see the TPI that you are looking for, contact the person who is the provider administrator for the account of the TPI you are looking for, so that the TPI can be linked to your account.
Select a re-enrolling TPI from either the “Please Select a TPI:” drop-down menu or the “Please select from the following list if the re-enrolling TPI does not have an NPI on file:” drop-down menu.
Note: If you don’t see the TPI that you want to re-enroll, contact the person who is the provider administrator for the account of the TPI you are looking for, so that the TPI can be linked to your account.
Click Submit.
Select Your Programs
Check the box for each program that you want to enroll in.
Traditional—Texas Medicaid provides health-care benefits to eligible Texas residents.
CSHCN Services Program—The Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program provides health-care benefits to people with cystic fibrosis and to individuals who are 20 years of age and younger and have special health-care needs.
Texas Health Steps Medical—Texas Health Steps Medical provides preventive health-care benefits to individuals who are 20 years of age and younger.
Texas Health Steps Dental—Texas Health Steps Dental provides dental benefits to individuals who are 20 years of age and younger.
Ordering- or Referring-Only Provider—Ordering- and referring–only providers prescribe, order, or refer services to clients who are enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
Click Continue and Save.
