Last updated on

Note: Texas Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) must provide all medically necessary, Medicaid-covered services to eligible clients. Administrative procedures such as prior authorization, pre-certification, referrals, and claims/encounter data filing may differ from traditional Medicaid (fee-for-service) and from MCO to MCO. Providers should contact the client's specific MCO for details.

New banner messages are now available on the TMHP Banner Messages webpage. Banner messages appear at the beginning of a provider's Remittance and Status (R&S) Report and notify providers of program and policy changes. The banner messages posted today will be available in R&S Reports for providers with TMHP claims for four weeks. The accompanying website articles are available on the appropriate Program or Topic page of the TMHP website.

For more information, call the TMHP Contact Center at 800-925-9126 or the TMHP-CSHCN Services Program Contact Center at 800-568-2413.
