HHSC Accepting Applications for Audit Ad Hoc Review Panel

Last updated on

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is accepting applications for membership on the Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program Informal Audit Ad Hoc Review Panel. Interested candidates should submit a completed application no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 23, 2021.

The panel reviews documents related to EHR Incentive PI Program audits and provides recommendations to HHSC on provider appeal cases.

Panel members meet as needed, and all recommendations to HHSC are advisory only. Ideal candidates must be active, individually enrolled Texas Medicaid providers, and familiar with electronic health record systems or the EHR Incentive PI program.

The HHSC executive commissioner will appoint members to the panel to serve a two-year term from the date of appointment. Panel members must regularly participate in panel meetings and other meetings as needed. Meetings may be conducted by web or telephone and do not require travel.

The estimated time commitment for this panel is two hours per month on average, depending on the caseload. All positions are voluntary, and panel members are not paid for participation on the panel.

Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m., April 23, 2021.
