Home and community-based services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) program providers, local intellectual and developmental disability authority (LIDDA) agencies, and financial management services agencies (FMSAs) billing on behalf of consumer directed services (CDS) employers will have an opportunity to register for webinars beginning next month. These webinars will cover information about the Long-term Care (LTC) Online Portal and forms that HCS and TxHmL program providers will use.

The webinars will include a live question-and-answer (Q&A) session and will take place beginning in February 2022. Details, including dates, times, and registration links, will be published in a future article on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website. Providers should regularly check the Recent News section of the LTC web page for up-to-date information.

Account Creation Resources

HCS and TxHmL program providers, LIDDAs, and FMSAs will begin submitting claims and forms to TMHP on March 1, 2022. Program providers, LIDDAs, and FMSAs are strongly encouraged to set up the following accounts if they have not already done so:

  • Claims Submission Account
    • TexMedConnect or
    • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
  • LTC Online Portal
  • TMHP Learning Management System (LMS)

Failure to set up the necessary accounts can lead to delays in payment after March 1, 2022. Program providers, LIDDAs, and FMSAs can find resources for creating the necessary accounts and the time frames it could take to create those accounts in the following table.
