On January 13, 2023, in preparation for the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Home Health Care Services (HHCS) implementation, TMHP made improvements to the EVV Portal and updated the related training materials in the TMHP Learning Management System (LMS).
EVV Portal Updates
The following updates were made to terms in all EVV Portal Search Tabs and Reports:
- Attendant updated to Service Provider
- Texas EVV Attendant ID updated to EVV Service Provider ID
The following updates are specific to the EVV Portal Reports:
- A Home Health Care Services (2024) option was added to the EVV Implementation Group report criteria drop-down lists.
- The EVV Attendant History Report has updated with the following changes:
- Renamed to EVV Service Provider History Report
- Maximum visit date range updated to 184 days
- Fields added: Bill Time In, Bill Time Out, and Rounded Actual Hours
- Texas Provider Identifier (TPI) was removed from the Excel format.
- The EVV CDS Employer Usage Report has been updated with the following new fields: Option on Form 1722, Member First Name, and Member Last Name.
- The EVV Clock In/Clock Out Usage Report has updated with the following changes:
- Renamed to EVV Service Provider Clock In and Clock Out Report
- Fields added: Member First Name and Member Last Name
- Fields renamed:
- Texas EVV Attendant ID updated to EVV Service Provider ID
- Provider Name updated to Provider/FMSA Name
- EVV Clock In/Clock Out Usage Summary section title updated to EVV Service Provider Clock In and Clock Out Summary
- The EVV Reason Code Usage and Free Text Report has been updated as follows:
- Fields added (CSV and Excel Free Text tab): CDS Form 1722 Selection, Bill Time In, and Bill Time Out
- Field renamed: TX EVV Attendant ID updated to EVV Service Provider ID
- The EVV Visit Log Report has been updated as follows:
- Fields added: Bill Time In, Bill Time Out, Actual Rounded Hours, Schedule Type, Phone In, Phone Out, and Location Out
- Fields renamed:
- Calculate Attendant Start Date updated to Calculate Service Provider Start Date (visible on report criteria screen)
- Actual Date updated to Date
- Actual In updated to Clock In
- Actual Out updated to Clock Out
- Actual Hours updated to Bill Hours
- Actual Units updated to Bill Units
- Actual Location updated to Location In
- Actual Phone updated to Phone In
- Fields removed: Location ID and End Date
- The EVV Claims Match Reconciliation Report has been updated as follows:
- Field renamed: EVV Attendant ID updated to Service Provider ID
The following updates are specific to the EVV Portal search tabs:
- Accepted Visit Search results have been updated as follows:
- Columns added (Excel export): Actual Hours Rounded, Bill Time In, Bill Time Out, Visit Location Out, Call In Phone, Call Out Phone, and Schedule Type
- Column titles renamed:
- Visit Location updated to Visit Location In (Excel export)
- EVV Attendant ID updated to EVV Service Provider ID (search results and Excel export)
- Employee Last Name updated to Service Provider Last Name (Excel export)
- Employee First Name updated to Service Provider First Name (Excel export)
- Employee Discipline updated to Service Provider Discipline (Excel export)
- Columns removed: Provider Region and Provider Location
- The user can now click the Search button or press the Enter key to run a search.
- The EVV Claim Search Results have been updated to the following:
- Column title renamed: Attendant ID updated to Service Provider ID6
- Added superscript 6 at the top of the Claim Search Results section, which informs the user that the Service Provider ID column will only be populated for Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) EVV claims that have the Line Item Control Number (LICN) field populated
- Note: The entire Service Provider ID may not display if it is longer than the character limit on the LICN field.
- The user can now click the Search button or press the Enter key to run a search.
- The Visit History Search Results have been updated as follows:

- The EVV Visit Details have been updated as follows:
- Fields added: Actual Hours Rounded, Bill Time In, Bill Time Out, and Visit Location Out
- Fields renamed:

- Employee Last Name updated to Service Provider Last Name
- Employee Discipline updated to Service Provider Discipline
