TMHP 1915(c) Waiver Programs Web Page

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) developed the 1915(c) Waiver Programs page on the TMHP website to make it easier for Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) providers and local intellectual and developmental disability authorities (LIDDAs) to access information that is related to the Long-Term Care (LTC) Online Portal and other resources that are relevant to these programs.

On the left-hand side of the page, providers and LIDDAs can access the following resources:

  • The Reference Material page features general information, user guides, frequently asked questions, and additional resources, such as:
    • The Provider Quick Reference Contact List for HCS and TxHmL, which providers can use, before reaching out to TMHP or the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for assistance, to ensure that they receive guidance from staff who are knowledgeable about their specific form, form type, or system issue
Note: LIDDAs received a contact list directly from HHSC via IDD Service Broadcast Message 2023-24.
    • The HCS and TxHmL YouTube playlist: training videos produced by TMHP for HCS and TxHmL
  • The Provider Education page for additional training materials
  • The LTC Provider Bulletins page for TMHP news bulletins
  • The LTC Help Desk and EDI Help Desk phone numbers

On the right-hand side of the page, the Recent News section provides a selection of recently published articles. Providers and LIDDAs can scroll down to the bottom of the page and select See All News to view a list of articles about the 1915(c) Waiver Programs. Articles that are related to the LTC Online Portal and HCS and TxHmL programs will appear in this filtered list. Providers and LIDDAs can also use the filters to search for a specific date range, title, program, topic, or category.
