April 2023 NDC-to-HCPCS Crosswalk Now Available for Clinician-Administered Drug Processing

The quarterly Texas National Drug Code (NDC) to Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) Crosswalk is now available for clinician-administered drug (CAD) processing.

The NDC-to-HCPCS Crosswalk identifies relationships between NDC and Medicaid-reimbursable Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codes. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) publishes the crosswalk based on quarterly additions to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services list of rebate-eligible drugs and new drugs added monthly to the First Databank pricing compendia. HHSC wants providers to use the crosswalk to ensure that claims are accurately submitted.
