CSHCN Services Program Provider Manual Update for Hospital-Grade Blood Pressure Devices

On December 1, 2023, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will update the indications that are recognized by the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program for hospital-grade blood pressure devices.
The following indications will be added:
Pulmonary embolism
Valve disorders
Embolism
Stenosis of either coronary artery stent or peripheral vascular stent
For a list of all recognized indications, providers may refer to the CSHCN Services Program Provider Manual, Chapter 11: Blood Pressure Monitoring and Devices, subsection 11.2.1.3, “Hospital-Grade Blood Pressure Devices.”
