The Quality Monitoring Program and The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing are offering a free webinar for certified nurse aides, registered nurses and nursing facility administrators.

“From Risk to Resilience: Infection Control Risk Assessments for Nursing Homes,” will be hosted by Amanda Barton and Jill Barthelemy from the TMF Health Quality Institute on December 10 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Central time.

The webinar aims to guide and improve the care of Texas residents using evidence-based best practices. Learning objectives will include:

  • Recognizing common gaps in current infection control practices.
  • Identifying evidence-based standards and regulatory expectations for comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Learning how to integrate tools to improve infection prevention strategies.

This webinar provides one continuing nurse education credit for registered nurses, certified nurse aides and licensed nursing facility administrators.
