HHSC Adopts New COVID-19 Vaccination Data Reporting Emergency Rules for ICF/IID Providers

Last updated on

Effective February 12, 2021, Texas Health and Human Resources Commission (HHSC) adopted new COVID-19 vaccination data reporting emergency rules. The rules require intermediate care facilities for individuals with an intellectual disability (ICFs/IID) or related conditions to accurately report COVID-19 vaccination data for staff and residents to HHSC within 24 hours of completing a round of vaccinations, in the format established by HHSC. The data will allow HHSC to accurately track vaccinations of staff and residents in long-term care facilities in Texas.

HHSC has published Provider Letter 2021-05 (PDF) with instructions on how to report vaccination data information to HHSC using Survey Monkey.

Read the ICF/IID rules (PDF).

Facilities must begin reporting vaccination data immediately using an online survey. Complete the survey here.
