Reporting Issue with NHSN COVID-19 Resident Capacity Data Format

The National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) has identified an issue that may prevent users from uploading COVID-19 Resident Capacity Data in comma-separated value (.csv) format. Some people received error messages indicating that data may not have been saved. If you received this error message, check to ensure entered data has populated based on the guidance below.

For group facilities:

  • Click OK to clear the alert.
  • Click Cancel to exit the CSV Upload prompt.
  • A list of facilities by month will be displayed.
  • Search the list of facilities by month and year to confirm whether the data was uploaded, despite receiving the previous alert.

For facilities that are not part of an NHSN group, the calendar view of the COVID-19 module will automatically populate the days for uploaded data.

NHSN is currently working to resolve this issue. Updates will be provided as they become available.
