You, your employees and agents are authorized to use CPT only as contained in materials on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website solely for your own personal use in directly participating in healthcare programs administered by THHS. CMS Issues Revised Quality Safety and Oversight Memo (QSO-21-14-ICF-IID)

The Quality Safety & Oversight Memo QSO-21-14-ICF-IID-PRTF (PDF) was revised by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The revised memo includes the impact of COVID-19 vaccination, including:

Adding the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) definition of a fully vaccinated person.
Directing facilities to the current CDC guidance for information on indoor visitation.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is developing new emergency rules. When the rules are adopted, long-term care providers will be notified by provider letter and gov.delivery.
