Online TULIP Licensing System for Nursing Facility Administrators, Nurse Aides, and Medication Aides is Going Live February 28, 2022

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is adopting a new TULIP based online licensing and renewal system for nursing facility administrators, nurse aides, and medication aides effective February 28, 2022.

Current systems will shut down at 5 p.m. Central Time on February 11, 2022. There will be no licensing or renewals for Nursing Facility Administrators (NFAs), nurse aides, and medication aides between February 11 and February 27, 2022.

NFAs must submit licensure renewal applications before February 11, 2022 if their license expires between February 11 and February 27, 2022.

Nurse aides and medication aides wishing to submit renewals or initial requests for nurse aide registry listing or permitting should do so before or after the February 11 through February 27, 2022 blackout period.
