HHSC Gives NFAs 60-Day Grace Period for Certain Renewals

Last updated on

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is currently implementing a new credentialing system for nursing facility administrators (NFAs) in the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal (TULIP).

The system is now online and functional, but due to limited functionality in TULIP over the past several weeks, HHSC is extending a grace period of 60 days from March 11, 2022, for anyone whose licenses have expired since February 11, 2022.

HHSC will consider the license to be active for sixty (60) calendar days from March 11, 2022. This will allow all NFAs to submit renewals and associated documents through the new credentialing system.
