EVV Visit Transactions Rejecting With Ex0002C

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) has identified an issue with visits that are being rejected with the message “Ex0002C: Provider NPI cannot be validated as active for the visit date.” TMHP is working to identify the issue and will provide an update when it has been resolved.

While TMHP is working on a resolution, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) vendors and Proprietary System Operators (PSOs) can reexport Ex0002C rejected visits daily. Some rejected visits will be accepted if they are resubmitted.

Reminder: Providers and Financial Management Services Agencies should verify that their visits are accepted in the EVV Aggregator before they submit a claim.
