HHSC Reminds NF Providers to Submit Timely Occupancy Reports — Reminder System Offline

HHSC reminds nursing facility providers to submit Medicaid occupancy reports to the Medicaid Occupancy Reporting System no later than the fifth day of the month following the last day of the reporting period.

Medicaid-certified nursing facilities are required to submit monthly occupancy reports to HHSC in the manner prescribed by HHSC no later than the fifth day of the month following the last day of the reporting period. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in HHSC withholding vendor payments until the report is complete. 26 TAC §554.2322(l)

Do not fax or email your data because HHSC will not consider it as submitted until the reporting information has been entered into the Medicaid Occupancy Reporting System.

At this time, the Medicaid Occupancy Reporting System is not sending courtesy reminder notices. HHSC is actively working to correct this.
