HTW Providers Must Recertify in PEMS and Update Demographic Information

Last updated on

This article has been updated.

Healthy Texas Women (HTW) providers that intend to provide or continue providing HTW services must soon complete the annual recertification process. The recertification period for program year 2024 is from November 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023.

HTW providers must also verify or update demographic and account information for each location site. It is extremely important that the information in the Find a Doctor search tool available at www.healthytexaswomen.org is kept up to date with the most current data for providers who deliver family planning or preventive services.

Providers can complete the HTW certification process using the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS).

For instructions on updating demographic information, providers can refer to the PEMS Instructional Site and select Maintenance-Practice Location-Demographics.

For more information, call the TMHP Contact Center at 800-925-9126, and select option 5.
