You, your employees and agents are authorized to use CPT only as contained in materials on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website solely for your own personal use in directly participating in healthcare programs administered by THHS. TMHP to Implement APR-DRG Grouper 40 Mapped to ICD-10/HAC Version 42 for Dates of Discharge on or After October 1, 2024

Effective for dates of discharge on or after October 1, 2024, Texas Medicaid and the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program will process inpatient claims in the All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (APR-DRG) system using Grouper version 40 logic and relative weights and mapped to the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) and hospital acquired condition (HAC) version 42.
