Last updated on

If you’re interested in the study and the making of recommendations to safeguard the public against fraud, deceit, and misleading marketing practices and to foster and encourage competition and fair dealing by mental health facilities and chemical dependency facilities by prohibiting or restricting practices by which the public has been injured in connection with the marketing and advertising of mental health services and the admission of patients, you may want to apply to be a member of the Task Force on Patient Solicitation.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission executive commissioner will appoint four members to the task force for terms to expire at the pleasure of the executive commissioner or the task force fulfills its duties.
